#4 – Rhino Blinds R75-RTE 2 Person Hunting Ground Blind
Overall - 3.75/5 - Best Ground Blind for Easy Setup!
Although we’ve placed this guy in position 4, this ground blind is a pretty sweet option, particularly if you’re looking for something that’s both affordable and easy to set up.
Interestingly, this blind is described in a number of different places as a 2-person ground blind, when in actual fact, it is described as a 1-person blind on the Rhino Blinds website.
So, keep in mind that you will need to consider your use case with respect to how much room you need. The features and specs are below so be sure to check out the dimensions to base your decision on actual size rather than the marketing.
Setup and Pack down- 4/5
My father-in-law has been struggling with mild arthritis for a while now, and if I had to choose, this is the one I would get him because of its simplicity of set-up and takedown due to its spring steel construction and a durable rod and hub type design.
Durability - 3/5
So the points are up there again with the durability for a couple of reasons. The guys and gals at Rhino have thought ahead here and keep a range of replacement parts on hand in case something goes wrong.
The fact of the matter is that things always wear out over time from either use or dis-use. So for me, this is better than a bullet proof ground blind.
Along with this, being UV and DWR (durable water repellent) treated the Rhino line of Ground blinds will resist fading, dry-rot, mould and mildew.
The R75 ground blind also has reinforced stress points with triple stitched corners. This means that the rods won’t pop through the fabric.
These features carry across all of the Rhino ground blinds, so you will see me mention this further down the article.
Camouflage - 4/5
The ‘Realtree Edge’ design on this ground blind is described as featuring ‘open pockets of light and shadow that mimic open areas in a tree canopy’ and ‘disrupt the human form’.
The PRO hunters seem to like this design (along with a few thousand very positive reviews on amazon) so I’m giving this a 4 out of 5.

- Polyester Material - Water resistant
- Floor is 5 ft by 5ft, the peak of the roof is 66 high.

Overall - 4/5, Best two-man option (but also very spacey!)
Coming in at best option number 3 is the Ameristep Doghouse Ground Blind. With a clever play on words their marketing team promotes that it’s no longer a bad things to be sent to the ‘doghouse’.
In this case, I have to agree.
I’ve used this one for Turkey hunting in the past and it gives you protection from the wind rain and snow.
Its’ sewn together with water resistant material, and has 3D fabric sewn onto it, almost like a Ghillie suit, so that it blends just that little bit more into your surroundings.
With a pretty sweet design, and a spacious interior it resembles the Rhino Blind we placed in number 4 position above, this guy is also pretty simple to setup and pack down.
The inside is quite roomy. It says to person, but the dimensions are big enough for about three people. If you had two kids and adult or three kids and adult, you can easily fit them all inside.
Setup and Pack Down - 4/5
This ground blind makes use of a similar system to the Rhino Blind above as it uses a similar spring steel design.
This means there are only really a few steps to setting it up, and securing it to the ground with the supplied stakes.
Durability - 3/5
I bought this blind for turkey hunting.
It’s worked really well, it gives you excellent protection from the wind rain and snow. The material it is made from is water resistant.
It comes with high wind tie-down straps, so you can tie it down with cordage to make it more secure. It comes with stakes that you can put into the ground at each corner to make it more secure – it even includes a few extra for good measure.
Its construction includes a fiberglass rod, that runs through the ceiling to give you extra support. This allows water or snow repel and fall off of it.
All of these features add to its longevity and durability over time.
Camouflage - 5/5
One of the key features of this ground blind is the 3D fabric sewn onto its seams – almost like a Ghillie suit, to help you blend convincingly into your surroundings.
It has windows on all three corners or four sides and a large window. It also has a little keep window, with a velcro up screen, so you can either have the window zipper open with the screen up, and just pull down on the screen when you’re ready to shoot.
So basically this is very affordable, and definitely one of the 4 best ground blind for hunting.

This blind is very lightweight and blends seamlessly into the environment. With dual kick-outs that expand the floor to 65″x65″, the Ameristep Care Taker will be the perfect option for those looking for a larger size option.
Setup and Pack Down - 4 out of 5
With a set-up time of under 5 minutes, this is another great option if you’re looking for a blind that can be set up quickly and easily.
Durability - 3.5 out of 5
Made to last, but you have to make sure you look after it well. Be sure to clean it off before packing it away and ensure that there is no dampness.
If you take care of it well you should see a number of seasons in it for a great price.
Camouflage - 5 out of 5
Having the ability to add natural brush to this blind is a great feature. It comes with loops that you can use to secure natural brush easily.
Along with this, the ‘kick out’ design means that it blends well into the environment. The print on the design is a great camouflage pattern that I’m sure will agree obfuscates your blind really well into the natural surrounds.

Overall – 5 out of 5 – Best Value For Money!
This 3 person (yes! 3 person!) Ground blind is a great price, and a great size. We think it delivers on all the key points – without breaking the bank!
It is well reviewed by real customers and often receives feedback such as
“Great Blind! Especially for the money!”
or
“My new favourite blind for bowhunting!”
There are over 2000 reviews on amazon, most of which are in the 4-5 star rating, which we think is a pretty impressive feat!
Hooks are used instead of Velcro – which means that you an operate pretty well silently when you’re out on the hunt.
You also get a solid 180 degree view out the window, so you wont miss much of the action when you’re tracking your hunt.
Durability - 4 out of 5
This guy is made to last.
The stitching on this Rhino Blind is solid as, and won’t disappoint. It’s honestly made to last. There are no reports of issues with the internal lining as other brands have sometimes had reported.
Without the use of zippers, there is even less to go wrong when it comes to durability.
Set up and Pack-down - 3 out of 5
So this is one of the minor drawbacks of this ground blind. There’s always some give and take, particularly if you want a ground blind that is big enough for 3 people. Some users have reported that things can get tangled if you’re not careful.
My recommendation is to set this blind up at home first a couple of times so you are familiar with out it comes together – that way when you’re out on ‘location’ you won’t find yourself muttering curse words under your breath.
By all accounts, once you get the hang of it – you’ll be sweet!
